Description:
This class is recommended for ages 2 -- 4. Other ages may register, but please consult the "Swim Report Card" to reference the skills to be mastered in this class.
This beginner-level class is designed to assist children who may not be ready for an intense course of learning to swim. In this level, participants will will learn to follow basic water safety rules. Participants will learn to be more comfortable in the water and learn skills that include: safely entering/exiting the pool, submerging their mouth, nose & eyes, and floating with support.
Waiver & Release of Liability: I understand and agree to abide by the rules and regulations put forth by the City of Oakdale Recreation Services Department. My participation in this program/activity is voluntary, and I have knowledge of the dangers involved and that my participation may result in injury. I hereby assume any and all risks of injury and release the City of Oakdale, the City of Oakdale Recreation Services Department, and their employees and/or agents of all liability and responsibility for injuries or damage that may occus as the result of my voluntary participation. I further acknowledge that I am familiar with the rules and regulations to be followed in this class/program/activity and agree to abide by those rules and regulations.
As a parent or guardian registering a minor child for a class/program/activity, I hereby accept the above stated Waiver and Release of Liability on behalf of said minor child.
